Optimisation simulations done in Arena

During one of the courses in my master programme at university, I was introduced to simulation software, which sparked a strong interest in optimisation. Using guidelines from our course book I recreated office-work scenarios in Arena to find bottlenecks and then propose solutions to optimise the workflow.

Kaggle project at Singapore Management University

As a final assignment there was a Kaggle problem of developing an algorithm to predict shop sales based on historical information. During this project I was introduced to the power of data analytics and prediction, and to the importance of not overloading a model with too much data.
