Maksym Sukharskyi
I create products and use IT solutions to understand how to improve the productivity of organisations.
Where business meets IT
I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude in Business Administration at KU Leuven and I am now completing a Master of Information Management at the same university, with a Data Science major.
From a young age, I have been interested in building my own sources of revenue, which led me into the world of web development. What began as a desire for financial independence led me to unprecedented discoveries about what drives me, and what my passion is. It turned out I have an enormous desire to create, optimise, and improve.
In short, the reflection about myself manifested in completely opposite ways: from trying to direct small movies at summer camp, to finding sophisticated solutions to math problems — different from the ones presented in class — that saved time while solving them.
Nowadays I find myself at the intersection of creativity and precision. That is why I am dedicated to bridging the gap between business, a creative craft, and the IT sphere, an accurate one, by building digital products and optimising existing structures.
- Corporate experience inside a team
- A clear specialisation in data and operations
- A growing portfolio of real business systems
A first real corporate experience. As part of a team, conducted an adjacent-market analysis by screening EMEA markets for fibre connectivity products.

Co-founded an exam practice platform for Ukrainian medical students. Built the whole product, from the website design to the PostgreSQL database structure.
Built a fully automated system trading live on the exchange through Python. Hosted on AWS, it executes pre-programmed trading strategies.
Small university tasks simulating discrete events and further optimising them with Arena's integrated tools, data visualisation done in Tableau plus the Kaggle competition final project at SMU, developing my own small AI tool.
First real project. Developed a website together with a web developer.
